Online entry for the British Gas Hampshire County ASA Championships 2012 is now available. The closing date for entries is 14th February.
HCASA December Meeting

The December meeting of HCASA took place on Wednesday 1st December, 7pm-9pm at Cranbourne School, Wessex Close, Basingstoke RG21 3NP, Room F6.
This meeting included:
- Inauguration of HCASA President for 2011, Mike Lambert (Basingstoke Bluefins SC)
- Update on progress over the last 6 months in all disciplines
- Discussion on possible changes to constitution
- Nibbles and time to socialise
Sporting Apprentices Graduate

Ninety-four top athletes from the world of aquatics – including double Olympic Gold medallist Becky Adlington – graduated from the Advanced Apprenticeship in Sporting Excellence (AASE) on Saturday 28th March. Two athletes from the county were honoured with “Advanced Apprentice of the Year” awards.
Sue Barker Appointed for Paralympic Games

Congratulations to Sue Barker on her appointment as a REFEREE for the Paralympic Games in Beijing; a fitting recognition for her commitment to Disability Swimming.
Important Changes to ASA National Championships 2007

The dates for the ASA National Championships, National Youth Championships and National Age Group Championships have been changed. The change also affects the age qualifying dates for these championships. More information is available on the British Swimming website.
