All those interested in swimming in all its forms are invited to the County Dinner - an opportunity to get together with other like-minded people and to celebrate and support our 2009 President, Pauline Hogg.

"The County ‘Social Event’ of the season for swimmers, officials and friends, provides the opportunity to pay tribute to the President, and support those who give so much of their time to the successful running of the Association and its’ many Galas and Competitions."

Portsmouth Northsea Seek Head Coach for Beacon Programme

Portsmouth Northsea Swimming Club has recently been selected by the ASA for Beacon Programme status. As a result of this exciting opportunity we are looking to appoint an enthusiastic, organised, highly motivated and committed Head Coach who is qualified to the highest standards in the sport to manage and lead the implementation and delivery of the ASA South East Region Beacon Programme alongside the duties of Club Head Coach.

New Mountbatten Leisure Centre now open

The new Mountbatten Leisure Centre in Portsmouth is now open following a £25m investment.

The focal point of the new centre is undoubtedly the new 50m 8 lane swimming pool. The pool features a submersible boom and a moveable floor, which allows the pool to be split so that a range of activities can take place at once.

Hampshire County ASA registration fee unchanged for 2009

The HCASA registration fee (collected together with the ASA and Region fees) will remain unchanged at £1 per head (category 1 & 2 only) for 2009.
