Hampshire ASA Constitution

The County Association approved a revised Constitution at its ACM in July 2016. Copies have been sent to all Council Members and Clubs.

Hampshire County ASA Dinner 2016

ASA Club Conference Programme 2015

The ASA Club Conferences are for everyone involved in running aquatics clubs, including volunteers, officials and administrators.

Dates are as follows:

Volunteer Development Day 2015

This year we will be holding the Development Day on the 20th September 2015, at the Ark Centre in Basingstoke RG24 9NN from 9am to 5pm

The Programme is as follows:

Morning

  • Time to Listen
  • Team Managers 2
  • Mentoring
  • Club Structures - Building your Club for success
  • Swimming Judge Level 1 (Workshop 2 - Inspector of Turns)
  • ASA Young Aquatic Volunteers Certificate.

Afternoon

  • ASA Services and Support
  • Team Managers 1
  • Contemporary Issues
  • PAYE & Employment Status – Protect your Club and your people
  • Swimming Judge 2 (Workshop 1)
  • Swimming Judge 2S (Workshop 1)
  • Sports Coach UK Keeping Safe in Sport (Safeguarding for Young Volunteers (13+)
  • Swim 21

The places will be made available are on a 1st come, 1st served basis at a cost of £10 per person for HCASA members (to include unlimited Tea & Coffee) plus Lunch.

The Courses for Contemporary Issues, Mentoring, Judge 1, Judge 2 and Judge 2S wil be free to ASA Registered Officials if they do not require Lunch.

The "Time to Listen" Course will be free to HCASA Welfare Officers if they do not require Lunch and attend no other Courses.

Annual County Dinner & Dance 2015

The Annual County Dinner & Dance will be held on Saturday 6th June 2015 at The Holiday Inn, Herbert Walker Avenue, Southampton SO15 1HJ.

Programme:  Arrival 7pm for 7.30pm, Dancing from 10pm, Carriages 12.30am

HCASA Continuous Professional Development Training Day 2012

Workshops include some Swim 21 compliance elements, Safeguarding and Protecting, Time to Listen and Team Managers, as well as inspirational Grow and Promote your Club with Svend Elkjaer and Manage your Coaches. Officials and Licensing open meets workshops also available.

An exciting development is the attendance of the CLUB LEADERS Learner Bus, delivering taster sessions and support to clubs on the business side of running their clubs, an exciting, not to be missed opportunity.  

The whole day event is offered to HCASA affiliated members at £ 10, including delicious lunch and refreshments throughout the day.
