Linda Charlesworth Awarded Inaugural Volunteer Award

Linda Charlesworth Chairman of Hart SC, has been awarded the very first and extremely prestigious Hart Volunteer Recognition Award, for her services to Sport in Hart District. Linda triumphed over football teams as well as other sports, securing the most public votes, to win the award.
Apply to Officiate at Region Championships

Registered officials are invited to apply to officiate at the South East Region Championships.
This year the main weekend of the Youth Championships will be at the the Mountbatten Centre in Portsmouth so not too far to travel!
Hampshire Coaches Meeting

There will be a short meeting of coaches at the end of the morning session at the County Championships in Southampton on Saturday.
Mike Lambert, Swimming Secretary, will be seeking feedback from coaches on changes made to the championships in 2010 and suggestions for 2011. The meeting will also address plans to develop additional swimmers from Hampshire in partnership with the Beacon club programme based in Portsmouth. (Subject to agreement from the South East Region).

Trophies for the best individual swims in the BAGCAT competition were awarded to
- Kristina Neves (Guernsey) for her 1500m freestyle swim
- Karl Heather (City of Southampton) for his 800m freestyle swim
British Swimming Swim Suit Rules

From 1st January 2010 all competitions in England, Scotland and Wales will be applying the FINA rules in relation to Swimsuits for swimming, Masters and Open Water competitions.
Hampshire Claim Victory at British Gas ASA National County Team Championships

Hampshire have taken victory in Division 2 of the British Gas ASA National County Team Championships held in Sheffield this afternoon.
The team scored 483 points to claim first place ahead of Worcester with 439 points and Devon with 434 points.
The result will see Hampshire move back to Division 1 of the Championships for 2010.
Well done to all members of the team.
